Aktion Club of Allen County is a Kiwanis-sponsored service club in partnership with the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Aktion Club meetings are a time for people to get together with friends to learn and provide important services to the community. It is open to adults in Allen County who have a desire to engage in community service. Examples of community service projects include:

  • Volunteering at West Ohio Food Bank, Our Daily Bread and Restore.

  • Purchasing and donating school supplies and backpacks for local schools.

  • Collecting items for Family Promise.

  • Organizing fundraisers to donate money to local agencies.

Aktion Club meets on the 2nd Tuesday from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. of the month at the Lima Public Library. Transportation is not provided to Aktion Club meetings. To join, $15.00 annual dues are required. Attendance is very important.  Club members vote on officers who plan and facilitate the meetings.
