SERVICES FOR CHILDREN

The Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities provides a wide range of services to children. For birth through age 3, eligible children can receive services through Early Intervention. Beyond age 3 through 14 eligible children who have a need for ongoing supports can access: Service and Support Associate (SSA) services, Behavior Support services and/or Individual Support Services.

Families who do not need ongoing service coordination may ask to stay connected by receiving information on available resources through the Resource and Referral SSA. Other supports provided may include, short-term family specific information and referral or to request attendance at an  Individual Education Plan (IEP) meeting.
