PROGRAMS & SERVICES

The Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities offers a wide range of needs-based services and supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Allen County.  The Board strives each day to ensure that individuals have access to needed services, as well as opportunities for community inclusion and personal growth. Supports can include assistance with daily living needs, respite, transportation, day services, behavioral support, and technology, just to name a few.  Funding for these services may be provided through the Individual Support Services program (ISS) or a Medicaid Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver. The Board also partners with local agencies to meet needs and/or collaborate for the betterment of the community as a whole.  The goal of all services is to help individuals live the best life possible.
